Position Overview: The Claims Examiner will analyze Workers Compensation claims for our esteemed clients, determining entitled benefits while ensuring claims are adjudicated promptly and in line with industry best practices and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and process claims efficiently, creating well-defined action plans leading to timely resolutions. Negotiate settlements for claims within your designated authority. Communicate updates regarding claims processing with both claimants and clients. Manage claims reporting to excess carriers, providing professional and prompt responses to inquiries. Qualifications: Education & Experience: A minimum of 5 years in claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant professional certification is a plus. Licensing Information: Experience with Arizona workers compensation claims is advantageous. An Arizona adjuster's license is preferred. What We Offer: Flexible work schedules. As required by law, Sedgwick provides a range for compensation for this role, with the starting salary between $61K and $85K, depending on experience and location.
