Summary: The IT Surveillance Technician supports gaming operations by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting surveillance and security systems in compliance with all applicable gaming regulations and internal controls. This role ensures the continuous availability, integrity, and performance of surveillance hardware used to protect gaming assets, support investigations, and meet regulatory requirements. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain gaming surveillance hardware, including IP/analog cameras, NVRs/DVRs, servers, encoders, monitors, and storage systems. Ensure surveillance coverage meets gaming regulatory requirements for camera placement, resolution, frame rate, and retention. Perform preventative maintenance and proactive hardware replacements to avoid system degradation or downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, power, environmental, and connectivity issues. Terminate, test, and certify low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber). Coordinate with Surveillance, Compliance, IT, and vendors. Maintain documentation including camera maps, inventories, and service logs. Support regulatory audits and investigations. Respond to critical outages and after-hours support as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred). 2+ years experience in regulated surveillance environments. Knowledge of gaming surveillance standards and regulations. Strong IP networking and PoE knowledge. Ability to travel and work in restricted areas. Preferred Qualifications: Casino or tribal gaming surveillance experience. Manufacturer certifications (Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Axis). Familiarity with gaming regulatory bodies. Access control and alarm system experience. Work Cards: NV Gaming Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 30 lbs. at floor, knee, and waist levels. Occasionally pull wire, climb ladders, and climb into ceilings or confined spaces. Constant use of hearing and vision, sitting, distinguishing between shades of color, and using tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
