CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Job Summary: Join our team at Sysco as a reliable CDL A Delivery Truck Driver! We are looking for dedicated individuals to drive a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently while delivering an array of products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, and more to customer locations. As a vital part of our operation, you will develop positive relationships with customers by showcasing a friendly demeanor and understanding their unique needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older. Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with an excellent driving record. Ability to read and communicate in English effectively to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports. Physical capability to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds when necessary. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs. Preferred Requirements 1 year of customer delivery experience is preferred. 6 months of experience with hand carts/hand trucks is preferred. 6 months of experience in the Food and Beverage industry is a plus. 2 years of consistent work history is ideal.
