Radiologic Technologist - Night Shift Traveler

Description Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion - Aurora Department: Radiology department in a large hospital setting with trauma, OR, ICU, portable, and routine exams FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Fri-Sun, 1830-0700 or Thur-Sat 1830-0700 Pay: $36.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles. Join us for a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extending your contract! Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for at least sixty days after hire. Radiography - X Ray Technologist Responsibilities: Reviewing patient history and initiating radiographic imaging procedures based on physician orders while prioritizing patient education for understanding and cooperation. Administering contrast media or imaging medications safely and monitoring patient conditions closely. Recognizing and reporting any changes in patient conditions as necessary. Implementing techniques to enhance image clarity and ensure equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
