Founding Lead Pediatric Neuropsychologist Boutique ADHD & Autism Specialty Practice - Columbus Circle, NYC Place of Mind P.C. is a boutique child and adolescent psychiatry practice located at Columbus Circle in New York City. We are building a highly focused, quality-driven center for comprehensive ADHD and Autism evaluations and are seeking a Founding Lead Pediatric Neuropsychologist to help shape and lead this effort. Founded by a Harvard-trained child and adolescent psychiatrist, the practice is grounded in intellectual rigor, thoughtful formulation, and seamless integration of evaluation and treatment. Our aim is to create a premier NYC hub where complex neurodevelopmental presentations are assessed with precision and care - without fragmentation or long waits. We serve children and adolescents ages 4-18 presenting with complex neurodevelopmental profiles across ADHD, ASD, learning differences, and co-occurring conditions. This is not a volume-based role. It is a foundational leadership opportunity within a growing, high-functioning clinical environment. The Role As Founding Lead Pediatric Neuropsychologist, you will: Conduct comprehensive ADHD and ASD evaluations (initially 4-6 per month, expanding organically and collaboratively as the program develops) Independently administer and interpret the ADOS-2 Perform cognitive, academic, and executive function testing Produce clear, well-organized, high-level diagnostic reports Collaborate closely with the founding psychiatrist in integrated case discussions Play an active role in shaping clinical standards and the long-term development of the evaluation program You will have autonomy over testing batteries and report structure within a collaborative framework. Qualifications Licensed (or license-eligible) PhD or PsyD in New York (New Jersey a plus) Strong training in pediatric neuropsychology Independent ADOS-2 administration and interpretation Experience with cognitive, academic, and executive function assessment Excellent report writing and differential diagnostic skills Interest in long-term collaboration and practice development Compensation & Growth We are committed to investing in the right long-term colleague. Base compensation begins at $200,000 , with realistic total annual earnings in the $220,000-$250,000+ range depending on structure and caseload. Additional earnings potential exists beyond this range based on caseload and structure.
