Average weekly pay: $1,600-$1,700 Hourly base pay for all on-duty time Stackable incentive pay for: Port Newark and Port Elizabeth stops Rail yard stops (CSX, Norfolk Southern, Conrail Shared Assets) Load mileage Occasional NYC runs Optional hazmat incentive Drivers familiar with drayage, container hauling, and intermodal trucking can maximize their earnings each shift. Shift & Schedule Evening Shift Dispatch: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Schedule: Monday-Friday Shift Length: 10-12 hours Optional Saturday shifts available for CDL Drivers seeking extra income Freight & Routes This role involves 100% no-touch intermodal freight, ideal for a seasoned CDL Driver. Typical locations include: Port Newark Port Elizabeth Newark Airport cargo district Local rail yards (Kearny, Elizabeth, North Bergen) Drop yards throughout North Jersey Regional warehouses in Essex, Hudson, and Union counties Drivers with experience in port drayage, rail yard driving, container transport, and intermodal operations will find this work familiar and rewarding. Requirements This role requires a proven CDL Driver with verifiable intermodal experience. Valid Class A CDL 24 months Class A experience within the last 5 years 12 months port and rail experience within the last 5 years TWIC card required Acceptable MVR (one at-fault accident allowed) Consistent, stable work history No Clearinghouse violations This position is ideal for a CDL Driver with experience in North Jersey port work, Newark intermodal routes, and container hauling.
