Job Responsibilities Lead and manage complex IT programs supporting IRS CIO initiatives, ensuring alignment with federal standards and modernization goals. Serve as primary liaison between internal teams, IRS stakeholders, vendors, and leadership. Oversee program scope, schedules, budgets, risk management, and performance metrics. Develop and implement strategic plans, program roadmaps, and process improvements aligned with IRS CIO priorities. Ensure compliance with federal IT frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and ELC. Prepare briefings, reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and government partners. Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to technical and non-technical project staff. Coordinate with IRS enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application development teams. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder environments. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience with program management methodologies such as Agile. Ability to develop strategic plans, program roadmaps, and process improvements. Familiarity with federal IT compliance frameworks like FISMA, FedRAMP, and ELC. Cultural fit for collaborative federal work environments.
