In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting and upholding underwriting standards while leading a skilled team of underwriters and sales representatives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with agencies is essential, as is collaborating closely with underwriting and actuarial teams on product line and pricing evaluations. You will identify and implement innovative solutions to streamline business workflows. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in insurance or a related field, along with 3-7 years of management or marketing experience in commercial lines. We are looking for a strong leader with excellent coaching abilities, effective communication skills, and a keen analytical mindset. A focus on finding profitable business opportunities and fostering positive relationships with agencies is critical. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, conduct quality reviews, and remain informed about industry regulations through ongoing education.
