Join our dynamic team as a Senior Project Manager overseeing large office renovation projects. In this essential role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from preconstruction to closeout. Your mission will be to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards. You will need a solid grasp of the permitting environment, commercial construction practices, and the unique challenges related to office renovation work. Key Responsibilities Lead all phases of office renovation projects from inception to completion. Develop and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts. Collaborate closely with owners, architects, engineers, property management teams, and consultants. Effectively source and manage subcontractors, vendors, and critical long-lead items. Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and payment applications through to finalization. Ensure compliance with San Francisco Building Codes, local regulations, and project specifications. Organize and lead OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings. Coordinate construction activities in occupied office environments to minimize disruption to tenants. Monitor quality control and ensure all work complies with contract documents. Work with Superintendents to uphold on-site safety and adhere to project timelines. Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout documentation proficiently. Track and communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Qualifications 5-10 years of experience managing commercial renovation projects, specifically in large office spaces. A history of successfully delivering projects within San Francisco. In-depth knowledge of commercial construction systems, including MEP, life safety, and interiors. Exceptional skills in budget management, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement. Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. A valid California Contractors License may be necessary. OSHA 30 certification is advantageous. Preferred Experience: Experience with high-rise or Class A office renovations. Background in fast-track or phased TI projects. Experience working in occupied buildings. Participation in LEED or sustainability-focused projects is a plus. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary reflective of experience.
