As part of the Advanced Facilities team, you will engage in groundbreaking Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects, advancing your career alongside a skilled group of professionals. Role Summary As the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager, you will be vital in overseeing the planning, management, and execution of multiple project elements. You will manage materials, equipment, personnel, and documentation while ensuring project objectives are met on schedule and within budget. Your leadership will be critical in aligning with JE Dunn's values and mission. Key Role Responsibilities - Core Champion safety culture by committing to an injury-free workplace and mentoring others in safety protocols. Effectively manage subcontractor workflows and collaboration. Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and enforce quality and safety programs for your projects. Create detailed work plans for tasks performed by subcontractors and in-house teams. Coordinate project site management and preservation. Lead daily and weekly meetings to monitor progress and resolve challenges. Participate in project OAC meetings as necessary. Develop and adjust project schedules in cooperation with Project Managers. Track project budget and expenses using management systems. Effectively communicate key project updates to all stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and logs. Evaluate project performance and implement necessary changes. Manage the procurement of materials and equipment for your projects. Support procurement efforts for materials and project costs. Assist in selecting appropriate tools and equipment tailored for project needs. Ensure precise timecard reporting and accurate coding practices. Guarantee compliance with quality standards and protocols. Facilitate project closeouts by coordinating completion tasks with clients and architects. Understand project pursuit processes and engage in pre-planning efforts. Collaborate with field leadership to ensure adequate staffing for projects. Identify costs and scheduling impacts arising from project changes. Engage in negotiations regarding project alterations with stakeholders. Contribute to project review meetings and prepare presentations. Participate in procurement discussions with subcontractors and suppliers. Manage contractual agreements proficiently. Take proactive steps in identifying and recruiting top talent. Encourage a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core Oversee moderately complex projects from initiation to completion. Assume comprehensive responsibility for management areas like scheduling, safety, quality, and production. Proactively identify and manage potential project risks. Utilize your expertise to identify challenges and suggest solutions for team consideration. Manage cross-functional deliverables within the team. Engage in project bidding processes with your team. Negotiate project changes with relevant stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver work on time. Intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate proficiency in creating impactful presentations. Proficient in MS Office applications. Solid understanding of construction management fundamentals. Comprehensive knowledge of project processes that drive project success. Capacity to foster lasting relationships within teams beyond individual projects. Intermediate proficiency in project management and accounting software. Familiarity with JE Dunn's specific technologies. Intermediate proficiency in scheduling software. Ability to effectively apply Lean principles. Intermediate knowledge of various trades and scopes of work. Insight into project labor productivity and self-perform issues. Competency in budget management and relationship development for future projects. Aware of organizational structures and resources. Understanding of layout skill requirements. Intermediate knowledge of crane flagging and rigging procedures. Ability to evaluate how document changes affect project schedules. Collaborative approach to team interactions. Education High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred. Experience 5+ years of construction field experience. 3+ years of field supervision experience. Experience with Lean principles is preferred. Working Environment Valid, unrestricted driver's license is required. Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. May require traveling and/or relocating as necessary. Possible exposure to extreme weather conditions. Willingness to work non-traditional hours to accommodate project demands. Frequent physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Occasional activities include sitting and looking at computer screens.
