Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) Must maintain current Texas RN License BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified (within 90 days of hire) Maintain knowledge of ASPAN Standards Preferred Job Requirements: PACU, ICU, ER, or other acceptable acute care experience
