Founded in 1987, we focus on providing customized options for the unique needs of our customers.The Industrial Band Saw Operator is a key team member that will be responsible for cutting the materials and maintaining high quality and safety standards on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce.What you'll do:Measure materials as specified by blueprintsCut and load metal tubing on the production saw to supply our parts welding team with the materials neededCoordinate tasks according to engineering priorities and plansCommunicate with the Second Shift to ensure a smooth transitionFollow all safety protocols and quality standardsMeet daily production goals in order of priorityMachine maintenance (adding coolant and replacing the blades as needed)Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.What you’ll need:Ability to read blueprintsAbility to lift up to 100 poundsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to read a metric tape measureExcellent organizational skillsAbility to communicate and report progress and issues effectivelyReliable and punctualConstruction experience preferredWelding experience preferred but not requiredShift: 3rd shiftThis job description is meant to provide an overview of the duties and responsibilities of this position.
