Java Developer (GCP Migration)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) migration and strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and multi-threaded applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications while implementing CI/CD pipelines and optimizing database performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute GCP migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and cloud optimization. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and REST APIs. Implement multi-threading and concurrency best practices to enhance application efficiency. Develop and optimize SQL database queries and manage database interactions. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins for automated deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions. Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Mandatory: Hands-on experience with GCP migration (e.g., lift-and-shift, re-architecting). 6+ years of strong Java development experience with expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch). Proficiency in REST API design and development. Solid understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and performance tuning. Experience with SQL databases and query optimization. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Maven, GitHub, Jenkins). Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment. Self-driven, proactive, and excellent problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with IaC (Terraform) and cloud automation.
