The Field Operations Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing a team of employees and ensuring excellent guest relations. This position involves managing inventory, delivering food during peak hours, and handling the startup and shutdown of operations. You will manage cash flow, conduct administrative tasks including reporting, and control costs (P&L). Additional responsibilities include attending and leading employee meetings, hiring new team members, and managing safety and food safety practices. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage employees effectively Enhance guest relations through recovery and sales initiatives Oversee inventory management, including ordering and receipt Deliver food during peak operational hours Handle the opening and closing processes of the cafe Manage cash flow and process deposits Conduct new hire orientations and maintain required reports Monitor and control costs (P&L) Hold regular employee meetings and address issues as they arise Oversee safety committee and ensure food safety compliance Manage catering operations and the Safe Driver program Coach and develop employees across all levels Maintain a friendly and approachable manner Secondary Functions: Participate in area/market manager meetings Assist in all cafe positions as needed Support other locations as required Answer phone calls and take orders when necessary Facilitate food deliveries to guests Execute catering sales initiatives, including daily guest follow-ups, menu presentations, and community event facilitation Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent State Foodhandler card and ServSafe certification A minimum of 1 year as a Shift Supervisor in restaurant operations or a similar role Strong guest service and communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Familiarity with CBC CORE systems Completion of the CBC Management Training program Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and POS systems Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Formal leadership training (e.g., Situational Self Leadership) is a plus Valid driver's license with proof of insurance; must consistently pass MVR Additional Info: We are an Equal Opportunity / E-Verify Employer and adhere to all Ban the Box and Fair Chance hiring guidelines per federal and local laws.
