Your expertise in nursing will help us provide high-quality care to our patients. Key Responsibilities: Support and assess the needs of patients and their families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to address patient and family issues. Work with various departments to create an effective treatment plan for patients. Individualize and evaluate care plans, focusing on patient education regarding vascular access. Perform intravenous insertions, including peripheral and central line access. Utilize equipment such as ultrasound devices and intravenous infusion pumps as required. Ensure compliance with department policies and accurately interpret lab results to manage patient needs. Monitor and document patient care, ensuring timely communication of any changes in patient conditions. Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) to maintain treatment and therapy plans. Apply evidence-based practices in nursing care, honoring the diverse needs of patients. Maintain a vigilant and safe work environment. Engage in additional responsibilities as assigned. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or its equivalent. Experience: No prior experience required. Physical Requirements: Strong verbal communication skills. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying objects (up to 25 lbs.) Ability to perform repetitive tasks and movements. Occasional lifting of patients and heavier items (25-50 lbs.). Constant use of vision and hearing. Required Licenses/Certifications: State of Work Location: Illinois Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN) - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) or other relevant certifications.
