Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Radiation Therapist Job Details:• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed treatment plans• Work independently with sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures• Shift times flexible between 5:45 AM to 8:30 PM - must be available for variable scheduling• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of approximately 50 patients• Patient ratio of 5 patients during day shifts• Must have 2 years of radiation therapy experience required for submission• Travel experience required• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS (must be AHA certified and in hand at time of submittal)• Must have experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems• Epic charting experience preferred• Skills required: External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Elekta Infinity, Radiation Safety, Vision RT• Competently assess patients and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team• Adhere to all regulations, codes, policies and procedures for patient privacy and safety• May be responsible for specific procedures and orienting other staff• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing• Valid state license required at time of submission• 7-year work history verification required• Complete e-learning modules during orientation (1-5 hours average) Facility:This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive radiation oncology services department that provides advanced cancer treatment using state-of-the-art technology.
