Job Details Manager Telecommunications Job Description Job Profile Title: Manager Telecommunications JOB SUMMARY Oversees enterprise telecommunications strategy and operations across 34 hospitals and 800 ambulatory locations. Ensures optimal performance of VoIP and Digital PBX systems while managing vendor relationships. Provides leadership for telecom initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Develop and implement telecommunications strategies for multi-site healthcare system within complex telecommunication environment. Manage VoIP and Digital PBX infrastructure and ensure high availability. Coordinate with telecom carriers and third-party vendors for service delivery. Lead budgeting and procurement for telecom projects. Manage a large team of professionals at both the technician and analyst levels. Makes significant decisions on what their team of responsibility focuses on or executes as directed. Focus is on short-term operational plans (e.g., 1 year or less). Develops new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the job area strategy. May have budget or P&L accountability for area of responsibility, or manage resources or elements of the budget. INNOVATION & COMPLEXITY: Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of job area. May also demonstrate technical innovation in supporting business objectives. Problems and issues faced are numerous and typically undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems are difficult and moderately complex. Problems typically impact multiple job areas or specialties. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues. Executes on moderately complex tasks to enhance simplicity and standardization across Jefferson. COMMUNICATION & INFLUENCE: Communicates with parties within and outside of own job area, which may include external customers or vendors. Requires the ability to influence others outside of own job area on policies, practices and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS. Education Bachelor's Degree in a related field or Number of years experience as defined in the Work Experience Preferred Experience - Required 7 years related work experience Experience - Preferred 7 years Management experience in a large enterprise Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required Strong leadership and project management skills. Expertise in VoIP and PBX systems. Vendor Management and contract negotiation skills. Salary Range $103,022.02 to $150,476.47 Annual The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
