Title: Cath Lab Tech Location: Charleston, SC Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00), Monday-Friday Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements: Cath Lab Tech responsible for assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures in an adult cardiac cath lab setting. Duties include preparing and maintaining sterile fields, operating cath lab equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, and ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols. Technologist will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including right and left heart catheterization, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD closure, MitraClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, and peripheral/vascular interventions. Candidates should have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and be comfortable working in a high-volume lab with multiple procedure rooms and a hybrid OR. Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment setup, assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring hemodynamics, and maintaining accurate documentation using Epic charting. Technologists must follow infection control standards and ensure patient safety throughout procedures. Required certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) SCRQSA license Radiation badge required Preferred certifications: CCI with RCIS or RCES ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
