Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience and BLS certification for an inpatient hospital assignment. Job Details • Inpatient acute care setting at a trauma level III hospital, • Typical patient population includes post-op, neuro, general debility, COPD, and CHF cases, • 5 eight-hour day shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holiday coverage unless RTO approved, • May float between facilities in Cleveland and Kings Mountain, • EPIC EMR used for documentation; prior experience preferred but not required, Job Requirements • Active physical therapy license required if applicable, • Current BLS certification required, • Minimum 12 months of recent acute care physical therapy experience within the last year, • One professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year, • Must provide last four digits of SSN and full DOB for consideration, • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from facility; locals not accepted, • Returning employees must have been separated for at least 1 year after previous permanent position, Additional Information • Primary responsibilities involve evaluating and treating acute care patients with diverse diagnoses, • Collaborative department with a supportive team environment, • 4-5 days onboarding to department provided, • Required to work all holidays unless prior RTO is approved, • Scrub color is light gray, • Free parking available on-site, • Open to first-time travelers with previous acute care PT/OT experience
