Controller 10619 We are assisting a growing start-up firm providing outsourced accounting leadership to clients across multiple industries is seeking a hands-on CPA to lead full-cycle accounting engagements. This role requires strong inventory accounting expertise and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting: GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, month-end/year-end close Prepare and review financial statements Manage inventory and cost accounting (COGS analysis, inventory valuation, reconciliations) Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Assist with preparing companies for sale, including financial clean-up and due diligence readiness (preferred) Serve as a key accounting partner to clients; conduct hybrid onsite visits to Allen-based client Qualifications Active CPA (required) 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong full-cycle accounting background Hands-on inventory and cost accounting experience Experience supporting M&A or preparing a business for sale (plus) Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Strong communication and client-facing skills
