National company has immediate opening for Linux Administrator, located in Chippewa Falls, WI. This is a hybird role, with on-site office hours a couple times a week. As a Linux Administrator you will have the opportunity to be part of the team that brings High Performance Computing together, networking ASICs to the latest supercomputers. Randstad will be responsible for software installation and updates, as well as monitoring system status to ensure maximum uptime across various development systems supporting validation of networking ASICs and software for supercomputers. salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Debug and fix prototype and emulation system issues as they occur to maximize uptime. Use your Pyathon and Bash Scripting skillsto support systems and testing Maintain daily updates of development software stack on systems. Maintain and improve existing system status reporting infrastructure. Troubleshoot and debug system issues to isolate root cause of failures. Build compute node images with latest OS versions and software stack updates. Administer compute cluster for system validation team. Collaborate and communicate with management and internal partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Skills: Applicant be located within commutable distance of Chippewa Falls, WI Experience working servers, networks, filesystems, Linux based operating systems. Experience with compute clusters desired. (eg. LSF, Slurm) Experience with ASIC emulation platforms desired. (eg. Palladium, Veloce, Zebu) Scripting ability: Bash, Python The ability to work well in a cooperative and transparent development environment, both within and across teams. A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace new challenges. strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and an appetite for learning.
