Position Summary The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer III will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure modernization solutions for the digital bank's infrastructure systems. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance and expertise. The position will contribute to the organization by ensuring that the digital bank's infrastructure is reliable, performant, scalable, secure, and able to support the delivery of innovative products and services. Essential Job Functions: • Review evaluate incoming project request from IT or other departments; identify all infrastructure components work required to build the infrastructure, gather non-functional requirements, estimate costs, propose solutions. • Design infrastructure solutions using containerization such as OpenShift Containerization Platform and AWS EKS, VMware virtualization, AWS cloud, Linux, Windows Server, and Infrastructure as code automation. • Work with other teams to identify impacts to infrastructure and ensure that infrastructure solutions meet business and technology requirements. • Participate in initiatives that modernize infrastructure systems and support continuous improvement of infrastructure and engineering practices. • Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams. • Research and evaluate new infrastructure technologies and tools to identify opportunities to improve infrastructure systems and processes. • Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in infrastructure architecture and engineering. • Provide guidance and mentorship to peers. Position Requirements: • BS Degree and or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline. • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related field. • Extensive experience with containerization platforms such as OpenShift Containerization Platform, AWS EKS or GCP • Extensive experience with VMware virtualization, Linux and Windows Server. • Extensive experience using automation orchestration tools, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with designing and implementing highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions. • Experience with Streaming and Messaging platforms, Service Mesh and Caching platforms. • Strong understanding of databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MS SQL Server. • Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and engineering best practices. • Solid understanding of networking protocols, security best practices, and databases. • Ability to work through ambiguous and open-ended business requirements and priorities and translate the same into a clear roadmap and definition of success. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results. • Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity. • Perform other duties as assigned.
