Truck driver

DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities Verify shipping/delivery documents and maintain DOT logbook • Perform vehicle and cargo inspection • Transport materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work locations and warehouses • Observe and follow all safety rules, traffic regulations, and operating procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment and reporting delays or accidents • Alert a supervisor or manager of any safety issues • Maintain vehicle in a safe and clean condition • Maintain vehicle log and submit daily vehicle deficiencies to supervisor • Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and road regulations Qualifications • Class CDL truck drivers license with tanker and HAZMAT endorsement required • Must have high awareness for safety at all times • Sit and drive for up to 10 hours, and climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift • Minimum 6 months of driving experience
