The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 99-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.SummaryThe Part-Time Continuous Improvement (CI) Technician provides hands-on support to the Director of Continuous Improvement in planning, implementing, documenting, and sustaining Kaizen Events, 6S improvements, and other Continuous Improvement initiatives across all warehouse areas, show-site, and support operations.This role combines field-based process improvement support with strong administrative and analytical responsibilities, including data collection, visual management, documentation, and reporting. The CI Technician works independently, interacts professionally with union and management personnel, and helps ensure CI efforts are executed timely, consistently, safely, and in alignment with business objectives.This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working in-office and/or show-site based out of Orlando, FL.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesKaizen & Continuous Improvement Support Assist in planning and executing Kaizen events (including Pull & Prep, warehouse, staging, and show-site processes). Support real-time data collection during Kaizens (ticket tracking, observations, time buckets, productivity boards). Prepare Kaizen materials such as charters, agendas, observation sheets, standard work drafts, and report-outs. Help document current-state and future-state processes. Help maintain the 6S system. Support post-Kaizen follow-up, sustainment tracking, and audit activities. Data, Analytics & Visual Management Collect, organize, and analyze operational data (e.g., Cycle Time, Lead Time, and Parts Per Labor Hour). Maintain productivity and visual management boards. Create basic charts, tables, and dashboards using PC-based tools. Assist in tracking CI metrics and improvement results. Coordinate 6S system activities. Administrative & Documentation Support Prepare and maintain CI files, schedules, and improvement trackers. Format and edit presentations, reports, Best Practices, and Standard Work documents. Coordinate meeting logistics, schedules, and materials for CI activities. Maintain version control of CI templates and documentation. Training & Communication Support Assist with Lean / CI awareness training sessions. Help develop job aids, visual instructions, and training materials. Communicate professionally with operations personnel, supervisors, and union employees. Reinforce CI principles using respectful, non-judgmental language. General Responsibilities Work independently with minimal supervision. Maintain confidentiality of operational and personnel information. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Support a positive, respectful, and collaborative improvement culture. Support other duties as assigned. Education & ExperienceRequired High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in an operational, administrative, or process-focused role. Strong PC skills, including: Microsoft Excel (basic level formulas, tables, charts, etc.) Microsoft Word (document formatting) Microsoft PowerPoint (presentations, visuals) Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in: Business Industrial Engineering Operations Management Supply Chain Related field Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Office skills.
