Key selling points include specialized services in diabetes management, oncology, bariatric, and, maternity, along with convenient, flexible patient dining options. Reporting to executive hospital leadership with close partnership across Nursing, Clinical Nutrition, and Support Services, the Director Food and Nutrition Services will oversee patient dining, retail operations, catering, and therapeutic menu management while driving regulatory readiness, HACCP excellence, allergen protocols, and cost stewardship; supported by experienced managers, RDNs, culinarians, and supply-chain partners, this role guides staffing optimization, vendor relationships, sustainability and waste reduction, data-driven menu engineering, and satisfaction improvements; the Director Food and Nutrition Services will collaborate daily with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team-pharmacy, PT/OT, case management, and social work-to streamline care transitions, ensure diet accuracy, and enhance Press Ganey and HCAHPS nutrition domains.
