Posting Details Posting Summary Functional Position Title DATA AND REPORTING MANAGER Position Number 00059376 Appointment Type Regular Location-City New Orleans School/Division MEDICAL SCHOOL Department Center of excellence-Cancer Position Summary The LSU Cancer Center is seeking a Data and Reporting Manager (DRM) to play a mission-critical role for achieving, maintaining, and advancing towards NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center designation, which directly impacts research funding, compliance with federal requirements, and institutional prestige. The position ensures compliance with all National Cancer Institute (NCI) reporting requirements and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate, timely, and insightful data analysis. This position is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting all metrics required by the NCI, upper administration, the systems office, and partner institutions to include research funding, clinical trials, membership data, publications, and community outreach impact. The DRM will serve as the lead for data management, data analysis, and presenting and reporting findings, including key performance measures, in order to evaluate program outputs and outcomes. They will also develop and oversee processes, impact, and outcomes, evaluation plans to assess other specific projects and overall program performance and specific research initiatives (e.g. cross-institutional collaborative efforts, inter- and intra-programmatic interactions, media campaigns). The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in data management and analytics with exceptional communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with scientists, physicians, students, and administrative staff to deliver actionable insights that drive excellence in cancer research and care. This position is supervised by the Cancer Center Associate Director for Administration.
