Your Purpose: As a critical member of the Brightline Station Operations team, you will assist the Station Manager's direct daily operations and all aspects of the business within the station, keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do. While working closely with the Rail Operations and Security teams and coordinating with other departments, you will ensure a smooth, efficient, hospitable and comfortable travel experience for all Guests. Your Role [Essential Functions]: Food & Beverage Inventory & Services Confirm that the Food & Beverage (F&B) team has completed and restored all items necessary for the opening of both the Premium lounge and the Mary Mary lounge. Take inventory of both the MRKT and Mary Mary to ensure that all par levels are up to date. Ensure that all food is properly rotated based on date of expiration to minimize spoilage and waste. Set up all lounges with early morning offerings in anticipation of our first Guest arrivals. Arrange coffee and complimentary beverages in the morning to welcome our first set of commuters. Operational & Teammate Relations Conduct final inspection by utilizing the Measure Up program to grade our Teammates' closing performances. Confirm that all the closing duties have been completed for each department. Conduct a pre-shift briefing with the AM team, sharing company updates. Conduct a handoff with the AM manager, discussing any important details that may impact on the Guest experience. Guest Experience & Station Readiness Oversee the final arrival and departure for the day. Ensure that the station is secure after the last train has arrived/departed and confirm that all Guests and personnel have left the station. Ensure that the station opens on time and step in as the backup in case any manager is delayed in their scheduled arrival. Oversee the final arrival and departure for the day. Managerial Responsibility: None Knowledge Skills & Abilities: You are a natural people-person, comfortable with Guest service, retail, and Food & Beverage sales. Standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching for extended periods are tasks you can perform comfortably. You have sound judgment, thinking and acting independently, expressing clear and effective verbal communication skills to interact with Guests and other Teammates to ensure exceptional Guest service. You have two (2) or more years of operational experience in a hospitality operation. Approximately one to two years' experience with ensuring policies and procedures are closely followed. You are a minimum of 18 years old. You have demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and dependability. You love keeping busy at work and are conscious of safe food handling practices. You are comfortable navigating across various computer applications to help our Guests and communicate and prepare daily Manager On Duty (MOD) reports. Work Environment: Works in a clean, air-conditioned office space, free of noise, dust, and humidity. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. Occasional lifting of light items required. No specific vision requirements.Objects weighing 70 pounds or more must be accompanied by a second individual to avoid injury.
