A well-established hospital cardiac program is seeking a highly experienced Cath Lab Manager to lead program expansion efforts and help transition the Cath Lab into a STEMI-capable facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to play a pivotal role in advancing interventional cardiology services and optimizing Cath Lab operations. Key Responsibilities Program Development & Expansion Lead efforts to increase patient volume by 20%. Drive the transition of the Cath Lab into a PCI & STEMI-ready program. Work alongside cardiology consultants to align with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. Leadership & Team Development Oversee Cath Lab team of 14 FTEs, including RNs, Radiology Techs, and a Charge Nurse. Recruit RNs with cardiology experience to support program growth. Provide mentorship and leadership to build a high-performing, engaged team. Operations & Process Improvement Review Cath Lab workflows for efficiency and identify cross-training opportunities. Optimize procedural sedation and cardiac stress testing processes. Collaborate with OR leadership to offload appropriate cases to the surgical team. Collaborative Oversight Report directly to the Director of ICU while working closely with imaging, cardiology, and critical care teams. Manage interdisciplinary partnerships, including cardiology, vascular surgery, nephrology, neurointerventional, and interventional radiology services. Minimum Qualifications3+ years of direct Cath Lab experience (required). 3+ years of progressive management experience in Cath Lab, ICU, or PACU (required). Strong understanding of STEMI program development & regulatory compliance. Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and execute growth strategies.
