GIS Specialist Position Summary Join the Epic Facilities team and help maintain our 9+ million square foot campus. You'll be part of a group that builds and maintains systems others rely on, with a focus on keeping Epic's Esri-based GIS environment accurate, reliable, and ready for day-to-day use. Epic's campus functions like a small city, with offices, utilities, and infrastructure in constant motion. The GIS systems you manage play a direct role in how Facilities, Design, Construction, and Operations understand existing conditions, coordinate changes, and plan future work. In this role, you will own and administer GIS systems ensuring campus infrastructure and asset data are current and well organized. Your work will support operational troubleshooting, coordination of design and construction changes, and documentation of existing conditions. You will also maintain 2D and 3D campus models that reflect real-world conditions and support planning and decision making across teams. Live affordably in a city known for its rising tech talent. Requirements Technical understanding of commercial construction projects, including print reading, typical building/site coordination, and civil engineering Civil/Construction or software specific industry experience Comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other GIS software Familiarity with ESRI GIS application suite Knowledge of programming and scripting languages for data automation Associate's degree or relevant experience A history of academic and professional success Relocation to Madison, Wisconsin (relocation assistance available) Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship COVID-19 vaccination
