Job Summary and Responsibilities The incumbent operates ultrasound equipment to perform ultrasound and non-invasive vascular imaging procedures for neonates, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Follows standard, accepted protocols and guidelines established by the Medical Director. As our Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer), you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care. Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians. To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support. Job RequirementsCurrent licensure with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Board Eligible. Perform diagnostic ultrasonographic and non-invasive vascular procedures with a high level of expertise, ability to distinguish between normal and abnormal pathology, accurately interpret medical charts. Demonstrated knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation, physiology, anatomy and non-invasive vascular imaging as represented by ultrasound techniques, currently accepted diagnostic ultrasonographic and non-invasive vascular imaging procedures. BLS from the American Heart Association.
