May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Shift 600a-700pm Monday through Friday and 700a-500p on Saturday and Sunday. 1-4 days a week Job Summary Assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital and outpatient infusion setting. Prepares and compounds individual patient doses, primarily sterile hazardous and non-hazardous IV medications for adult and pediatric populations in accordance with current USP guidelines. Maintains a sterile work environment with specified cleaning procedures. Assists pharmacist and other technicians with inventory management of materials and medications. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Knowledge of inpatient drug distribution systems; ability to prioritize; strong customer service skills. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
