Schedule Nights: 19:00 - 07:00, with every other weekend required. Job Description The LPN will work in a Medical Surgical setting, providing care to patients with various medical conditions, including COPD exacerbation, infections, and social issues. The role involves direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications under the supervision of an RN. ResponsibilitiesManage assigned patient care with support from an RN. Monitor vital signs and perform pain assessments. Administer medications via various routes (oral, IM, SQ, etc.). Document patient status and communicate changes to RN/MD. Perform wound care and assist with feeding tube management. Insert Foley catheters and collect clean catch urine samples. Implement isolation precautions and adhere to safety protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureActive New York Single State LPN license is required. BLS certification is mandatory.
