Job Description: Worcester State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Business and Economics, beginning August 2026. We seek a dedicated and engaging educator who is committed to excellent teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, student success, and service to the university. While teaching is the primary focus, the candidate is also expected to maintain an active research agenda that supports their teaching and professional development Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance, such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investments, Operations Management, and related subjects. Advise and mentor students academically and professionally. Contribute to curriculum development and assessment activities. Engage in service to the department, college, university, and broader academic or professional community. Participate in department and university committees. Develop and maintain a robust research agenda in the field of finance or continue advancing an existing program of scholarly research. Requirements: Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in a university setting. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching and working with a diverse student population. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. or DBA in Finance or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
