Job Summary The Cloud Solutions Engineer will work closely with account and sales teams to analyze customer cloud environments and design innovative solutions aligned with business goals. You will strengthen technical relationships with partners, educate teams on cloud technologies, and serve as the technical lead on various projects. Your tasks will include implementing and documenting cloud solutions, developing technical roadmaps, and ensuring all architectures are secure. Role Responsibilities Collaborate with account teams to assess customer cloud environments by reviewing cloud technologies, usage, and processes. Design and propose tailored cloud solutions that align with client business objectives. Work with sales teams to promote solutions, including recommending next steps for sales progression. Enhance technical relationships with OEMs, strategic and emerging partners, and key cloud partners. Provide education and training for sales teams on cloud solution selling and relevant technologies. Conduct product training and positioning sessions for the sales team and customers. Implement and thoroughly document cloud solutions and technologies, including network design, security architecture, and best governance practices. Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert in projects and workshops. Create technical roadmaps for future implementations in public cloud platforms. Ensure security is a core element in all cloud solutions. Technical Troubleshooting: Proactive in identifying technical issues and generating innovative solutions. Collaboration: Encourages diverse perspectives and promotes open communication among team members. Active Listening: Engages in active listening by asking clarifying questions and providing insightful feedback. Documentation: Develops thorough documentation standards and implements best practices for operational efficiency. Skill Level Requirements Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms - Intermediate level. Ability to utilize cloud computing technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models, to efficiently implement and manage cloud solutions - Intermediate level. Understanding of infrastructure components (firewalls, load balancers, etc.) and orchestration tools to develop comprehensive solutions - Intermediate level. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting multi-tier applications and cloud-based architectures - Intermediate level. Proficient in migrating workloads to the Public Cloud and managing them effectively - Intermediate level. Other Requirements Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events. The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $170,000, which includes a base salary and bonus. Compensation will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending options.
