RBC Rochdale, LLC is an SEC-registered investment adviser and a subsidiary of City National Bank. INVESTMENT CONSULTANT - REMOTE OPPORTUNITY WHAT IS THE ROLE? As an Investment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing our network of Independent Financial Advisors, CPAs, and attorneys who refer clients to RBC Rochdale. Your primary focus will be to foster relationships with these professionals and engage with high-net-worth investors interested in our investment services. Success in this role hinges on your ability to attract new assets under management. WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR? Designing and executing initiatives to boost the quality and quantity of referrals from Independent Financial Advisors, accounting firms, and legal practices. Keeping Independent Financial Advisors informed about vital firm and industry developments. Ensuring a seamless transition from the sales process to portfolio management. Overseeing the new account setup and account transfer processes. Managing communications with Independent Financial Advisors and clients. Creating impactful client presentations. Regularly engaging with centers of influence to ensure our products and services meet their expectations. Driving individual meetings and presentations within your territory. Generating new assets for the firm through a consultative and professional sales approach. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. At least 5 years of financial industry experience, preferably in Investment Management. A minimum of 2 years working in the High Net Worth or Ultra High Net Worth markets. Over 2 years of experience producing formal client presentations. Possession of FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses. Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time. Additional Qualifications: CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst designation (or currently pursuing). Highly competitive and driven by goals. Focus on sales performance and business development. Master's Degree preferred. Solid understanding of portfolio management, investment techniques, asset allocation, and capital market behaviors acquired through relevant experience. Deep knowledge of financial planning and economic issues related to High Net Worth clients. Demonstrated success in the HNW or UHNW market. Exceptional communication skills. Self-motivated and disciplined with a strategic mindset. Exemplary personal and professional ethics. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation: Starting base salary ranges from $101,231 to $172,355 annually, based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and commissions.
