The Vice President of International Strategy will spearhead our efforts to expand our global retail footprint, managing international partnerships and driving performance through innovative strategies. Reporting to the SVP of Enterprise Strategy & New Growth, this role will shape our integrated international strategy to ensure our ambitious objectives are cohesive and achievable. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy & Market Development Own and develop the international strategy, setting financial ambitions and market priorities while collaborating with the Corporate Development team. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the beauty consumer’s behaviors, integrating insights into our operations for informed decision-making. Collaborate with functional leaders to align international expansion initiatives with enterprise capabilities. Create a tailored go-to-market playbook that outlines Ulta Beauty’s business model and operational standards for international markets. Franchise & Partnership Leadership Act as the main executive contact for franchise and joint venture partners, managing relationships and performance. Implement Ulta Beauty’s strategies in market plans while leading the onboarding of new partners with clear roles and accountability. Establish a structured performance management system for partners to ensure operational excellence. Operating Model & Team Leadership Build and lead a cross-functional international team, defining an operational model that supports scalability and best practices. Foster collaboration to ensure knowledge transfer and capability building across enterprise functions. Performance & Growth Drive top-line growth through effective partner management and commercial performance. Define performance targets and lead strategic planning, providing insights to enhance results. REQUIREMENTS: 15+ years of experience in retail or consumer sectors, with a minimum of 8 years in international leadership roles. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred. Proven track record in leading market entry and managing franchise or joint venture models. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence outcomes. Experience in managing complex multi-market operations with cultural and regulatory awareness. Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities. Exceptional communication and relationship management skills. The pay range for this position is $330,000.00 - $360,000.00 per year, with additional compensation based on various factors.
