KPMG is on the lookout for a Lead Data Science Consultant to become a vital part of our Consulting practice. In this role, you will: Transform complex business analytics challenges into actionable technical solutions while effectively communicating with stakeholders across diverse sectors, including technology, financial services, and government. Define project goals and deliverables, collaborating closely with clients to gather, prepare, and process a variety of data sources, from social media inputs to internal documentation. Work alongside other KPMG practices to deepen the understanding of Data Science and Advanced Analytics, leveraging cutting-edge technologies from leading AI service providers. Lead cross-functional teams to iterate and validate models swiftly, managing multiple responsibilities and ensuring timely delivery of results in a dynamic environment. Utilize your technical acumen to oversee code development processes, conduct exploratory data analysis, and guide teams in creating effective machine learning solutions. Foster a professional and respectful work atmosphere, demonstrating integrity and personal accountability. Qualifications: A minimum of three years of experience in leading analytics teams with a strong emphasis on business development and quality management. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred. Proven expertise in managing analytics projects, including data discovery, cleaning, model selection, and deployment. Strong proficiency in applying AI techniques to meet business objectives, complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication abilities. Experience with Python or R, SQL, cloud technologies, and command-line scripting. Willingness to travel as required.
