Job Duties Start Date: 03/01/2026 End Date: 11/24/2026 Hours: 54 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 10 hours/day, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Saturday 4 hours/day, Sunday 0 hours/day) Must Apply By: 07/14/2026 Job Duties: Worker will be required to Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including underground pipes; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as harvester, mower, string trimmer, chain saw, truck, tractor, trailer, forklift to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as sod; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools. Employer has a strict policy prohibiting drug use. While a CDL is not required for the job, some workers hired under this job order may already possess or obtain one. Minimum Experience Required Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
