SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - Capital Markets This role is located in Los Angeles, CA and requires in-office attendance 4 days per week. WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Join our dynamic Capital Markets Division, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting system development, testing, implementation, and end-user training for a range of bank systems. As a business expert, you'll ensure regulatory compliance and provide support for all processes related to our systems. You will translate complex business issues into effective solutions using data analysis, creativity, and clear communication. This role will also involve performing system administration, configuration, and reporting functions not covered by the Technology & Innovation division. You'll run database queries or create reports to meet management information needs. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Identify and consult with business units to determine their system needs and address challenges with current applications or functionalities. Prepare and present business and system requirements for enhancements or maintenance to management. Develop test scripts, quality control all changes, document processes, and support teams with any hardware or software issues. Act as the Subject Matter Expert for specific systems and guide development with a focus on data dependencies. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate implementation of forms, products, and services related to the system applications. Provide ongoing support to end-users, resolving system application issues and coordinating necessary changes with vendors or T&I. Run database queries and assist in preparing various reports for senior management and auditing purposes. Stay updated on relevant regulatory and bank policies and procedures. Engage in community and industry-related events to represent the Bank. Adhere to all Bank policies and regulatory requirements. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of experience in database/system development for reporting. 5 years of experience in creating reports with tools like Brio, MS Query, Access, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects. Minimum 3 years in a loan servicing or operations setting. Additional Qualifications Ability to analyze systems at a high technical level with consideration of business implications. Creative approach to enhancing system capabilities and efficiency. Proficiency in PowerPoint. Training and experience in commercial or consumer lending operations. Familiarity with systems development life cycle concepts. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of staff. Exceptional problem-solving and process management abilities. Banking experience with skills in report writing, sales, and financial modeling. Experience with SQL, Tableau, Oracle, and web-based loan origination systems is highly desirable. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation: Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year, with eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.
