As an Automotive Parts Specialist, you will provide outstanding service to both retail customers and installers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Promote and embrace company customer service initiatives such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, and Rock the Call. Warmly greet walk-in customers and assist them in finding the right parts. Support management and installer service specialists in effectively serving professional clients. Complete required training to excel in your role. Deliver exceptional service over the phone, accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, and recommending related items. Maintain a secure cash drawer, processing cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately. Handle exchanges and returns according to company policies with a friendly approach. Resolve customer complaints positively and efficiently. Assist with daily store operations, including stock updates, freight receiving, and inventory counts. Operate in-store test equipment after completing the necessary training. Perform in-store services for customers as permitted by local laws. Drive a delivery vehicle occasionally as needed, ensuring a clean driving record. Carry out other duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIESRequired: Strong ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to efficiently multitask while assisting customers both in-person and over the phone. Desired: Knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, and automotive sales or service. ASE certification.
