Job Description Job Title: Supply Chain Initiatives Analyst Job Function: Corp-Logistics Reports To: Supply Chain Manager Classification: Exempt Date Approved/Revised: February 12, 2024 Summary The Supply Chain Initiatives Analyst is responsible for ensuring the company's operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. This position will assist in all supply chain initiatives duties including executing vendor cost updates, expediting replenishment/purchasing, and supporting initiatives across the supply chain team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Employee must be able to perform these essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, absent undue hardship. Partners with supply chain leadership to enable the execution of key initiatives supporting replenishment/purchasing, pricing, strategic sourcing, category management, etc. Executes vendor cost pricing and analysis to ensure vendor costs are updated within the system of record. Executes ongoing pricing monitoring and maintenance to account for changes and updates outside of vendor cost changes. Provides strategic direction on retail pricing approach and integration of pricing across entities, part types, etc. Works with Import & Domestic Replenishment Coordinators under the direction of the Replenishment Manager to ensure consistent product flow into distribution center. Processes Past Due Purchase Orders to expedite shipping and ensure all SKUs are stocked appropriately. Works with foreign and domestic suppliers to maintain correct product delivery times. Performs all other duties as assigned. Complies with the requirements of the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System (when required). Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, climb, bend and kneel on an occasional basis. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular manual dexterity/coordination: hand/eye movements, motor control. Regular visual effort: concentrated reading of documentation or close viewing of computer displays. Able to push, pull and lift up to 15lbs. on an occasional basis. Potential HazardsThis position is not exposed to any hazardous substances. Required Education/Experience/Skills High School graduate, or equivalent work experience. 2 years' experience particularly within manufacturing, agriculture and construction parts sectors, preferred. Intermediate computer knowledge including e-mail, Word, and Excel software. Exceptional telephone manner, customer service skills, verbal, and written communication skills. Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, replenishment/purchasing, and pricing a plus. Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. Willingness to travel as required. Certifications, Licensees or Registrations Required/Preferred This position does not require any special certifications, licenses, or registrations.
