Temporary Tax Documentation Reviewer

Cherry Bekaert is preparing for the busy tax season! We are looking for multiple temporary, remote Tax Documentation Reviewers to assist in our Validation Center efforts from Mid January to mid-April 2026. Ideal candidates should be available for 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Some weekend work may be necessary during peak times, especially near tax deadlines. In this role, you will: Use your strong attention to detail to conduct quality control by reviewing data scanned from our tax automation software into tax returns to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate as part of a team in a dynamic environment to deliver time-sensitive tasks efficiently. What you bring to the role: A high level of attention to detail to guarantee precision when performing repetitive tasks. Strong technology skills, especially in Excel; familiarity with GoFileRoom is a plus but not necessary as training will be provided. A reliable ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat. Some availability for weekend work as the April 15 tax deadline approaches. The salary range for this position is $18 - $21 per hour. Individual salaries within this range depend on several factors including the role, function, applicable responsibilities, prior work experience, education, skills, and geographic location.
