In this role, you will provide direct patient care by delivering health and wellness services while adhering to state and federal laws. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations; report any illegal activity, including theft or fraud. Comply with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations; identify unsafe conditions and inform store management. Understand and manage ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers. Follow company guidelines for computerized inventory management, ensuring proper control and ordering of medications, devices, and supplies. Maintain clean and organized workstations and customer areas. Accurately count, measure, and prepare products following best practices. Complete billing procedures effectively to provide the best value to customers and the company. Respond to phone inquiries and triage calls as needed. Understand and adhere to guidelines on vendor coupon acceptance, cash shortages, and shrink prevention. Operate the cash register accurately, processing all forms of transactions including credit, debit, and cash. Deliver exceptional customer service while accurately completing all reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing tasks. Assist the pharmacist with various tasks that do not require the pharmacist's professional judgment. Comply with HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient confidentiality. Support company health and wellness initiatives actively. Manage inventory, including putting away legend orders and Central Fill deliveries. Work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. Handle conflicts amicably and cooperatively. Demonstrate honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues. Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Must meet state requirements for job functions. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role. Experience as a pharmacy clerk is a plus. Familiarity with EPRN systems is advantageous. Compensation: $17.38 - $22.40 per hour
