Talon Hiring Solutions has a client that is looking for a Specification Writer in the Greater Montgomery, AL area to help create clear, accurate, and forward-thinking specifications that set our projects up for success. In this role, you'll collaborate with talented architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure every design translates seamlessly from concept to construction.What you will do Write and manage project specifications that align with drawings and client goalsPartner with project teams to create comprehensive project manualsResearch and recommend innovative products, materials, and systemsStay on top of codes, regulations, and industry standards to keep projects compliant and cutting-edgeSupport QA/QC reviews and construction administration to ensure quality and accuracyContribute to firm-wide standards and tools that raise the bar across all projects What you will bring Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field3–5 years of experience writing specifications or working in a technical architectural roleStrong knowledge of CSI MasterFormat, building materials, construction methods, and codesProficiency in specification softwareExceptional communication skills—both written and verbalA detail-driven, highly organized mindset with the ability to thrive under multiple deadlinesA collaborative spirit and a love for problem-solving About Talon Hiring SolutionsAt Talon Hiring Solutions, we specialize in connecting talented individuals with companies that value their skills and expertise.
