Role: IT Project Manager - Healthcare CMS background Location: Remote (EST or CST - will be working EST hours) Term:6 Months + Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts - Boston Required Skills: Healthcare industry with CMS (centers for medicare & medicaid services) exposure - Experience with government mandates Additional Skills API and EDI transactions experience Job Description: This person will be joining a team responsible for managing projects related to compliance updates mandated through 2027 by CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services). Project responsibilities: Planning, directing and coordinating / scheduling the appropriate life cycle phases for implementation and support for large or multiple small projects. Activities include coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments and often performs systems analysis. Serves as a primary contact with user groups and systems management. Familiar with Waterfall & Agile delivery methods. Responsible for stakeholder meetings, status reports, decks, collaborating with product owners, using Jira, managing financials, and integrating with a vendor partner using a cloud-based system. Reviewing the CMS mandates, meeting with the relevant business areas, helping with the assessment of what will be changing in the workflows, helping with requirements, working with vendors, working with onshore & offshore teams, reporting, managing financials, and providing updates to VP / C-level individuals.
