Boone Memorial Health is looking for a knowledgeable and patient-focused Infusion Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. This role is perfect for a licensed RN who enjoys providing high-quality infusion care in a flexible, supportive setting. You'll deliver direct patient care and collaborate closely with providers to ensure safe and effective treatments. Who We Are Boone Memorial Health (BMH) is a growing, rural Critical Access Health System located in Madison, West Virginia. At the core of our system is a 25-bed inpatient hospital with a 24/7 Emergency Department, designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. BMH operates a network of outpatient clinics and specialty services throughout Boone County and beyond. QualificationsRequired: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Valid WV Registered Nursing License Solid understanding of nursing procedures and infusion protocols Proficiency with electronic medical records BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire) Preferred: PICC Line Certified Experience in infusion nursing Familiarity with Infusion Nurses Society protocols ACLS and PALS (training available if not current) Key Responsibilities Provide infusion and other nursing services in accordance with physician orders Perform and document nursing assessments and care plans Administer IV infusions and prescribed medications safely and accurately Educate patients and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care Monitor patient responses and report concerns appropriately Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to coordinate care Maintain accurate records in the CPSI/EMR system Support departmental operations including stocking and organizing supplies Uphold infection control and patient safety standards Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
