Job Details Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care (LTC) Location: Lowville, NY 13367 (Lewis County, Upstate New York) Setting: Long Term Care Facility / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel LPN, Travel Nursing) Start Date: March 5, 2026 End Date: June 4, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,350 - $1,420 per week Requirements / Qualifications Active, unrestricted LPN license in New York State Minimum 1 year LPN experience; Long Term Care, SNF, or geriatric care preferred Current BLS certification (AHA preferred) Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills Experience with medication administration, resident assessments, and documentation Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to residents in a Long Term Care setting Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy Perform regular resident assessments, monitor conditions, and report changes to RN or physician Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide emotional support Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident care plans Maintain accurate, timely documentation of resident status and interventions Why Lowville, NY?
