JOB SUMMARY: The Legal Recruiting Manager is responsible for the full-cycle recruiting and onboarding of associate and technology specialist hires for the firm. As a member of the Legal Recruiting and Professional Development (LRPD) team, the Legal Recruiting Manager collaborates with and supports the Director of Legal Recruiting in developing and implementing strategic approaches to legal recruiting across all offices and works cohesively with LRPD team members to support onboarding, development, and training initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Collaborates with and support the Director of Legal Recruiting in developing and implementing strategic approaches to associate recruiting across all offices. Manages hiring efforts for Associates and Technology Specialists firmwide. Works directly with the Director of Legal Recruiting to ensure alignment with departmental and practice group hiring goals. Leads initial searches, sourcing, and outreach for associate and technology specialist candidates. Manages and participate in the interview process, including scheduling, candidate communication, and onsite coordination, when applicable. Facilitates the decision-making process by collecting, consolidating, recommending, and circulating interview feedback; coordinate candidate follow-up. Partners with the Professional Development team to ensure a smooth transition from hiring to onboarding for new hires. Works closely and collaboratively with firm leadership and members of LRPD to support training and development initiatives and to implement attorney-related policies and procedures. Oversees internal and external background and conflict checks for all Associate and Technology Specialist candidates. Develops and maintains effective relationships with third-party search firms, and other legal recruiting vendors. Organizes and prepares data and submissions for regional and national legal surveys. Maintains department systems and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Support the Director of Legal Recruiting with summer program and lateral shareholder hiring and integration, as needed. Takes on additional tasks and projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and minimum of five (5+) years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm setting with at least two (2+) years in a managerial role desired. Highly proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experienced and knowledgable with applicant tracking systems. Ability to leverage social media platforms to proactively source candidates. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate workflow and project updates. Exhibits strong judgment and critical thinking skills when navigating complex situations or making independent decisions. Ability to maintain flexibility when confronted with shifting priorities. Effectively absorbs and applies new information, guidance, and feedback in an expeditious and timely manner. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and independently. Work Environment: The office work environment of the firm is characteristic of the environment the job holder will encounter. In this typical office setting, an employee will encounter standard office equipment and any noise associated with that equipment. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate. The office setting of Wolf Greenfield requires the ability to manage multiple work priorities along with frequent interruptions.
