Facility Snapshot Community hospital in Elkhorn, WI 64 licensed beds 1 CT scanner Transfers high-acuity patients to St. Luke's in Milwaukee COVID vaccination required by AAH Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year CT experience First-time travelers accepted Must be able to work independently in CT and surgery cases X-ray skills required Comfortable rotating through first, second, and third shifts Certifications & Licensure ARRT (CT) BLS Wisconsin license Key Skills Client CT experience C-arm experience Strong IV skills (preferred) General CT, cardiac, stroke, angiograms, CTA No IR, no biopsies Able to manage 30-minute case blocks Patient transport experience preferred Patient Mix Inpatient Outpatient Emergency OR (preferred) Ratios: 1:1 Usually 2 CT techs on staff; solo on third shift Schedule Details Rotating schedule across CT/X-ray Mix of 8-12 hour shifts Must be willing to work third shift Every 4th weekend (Sat/Sun, 3p-11:30p), unless filling PTO Holiday shifts tied to rotation (e.g., 11/26 10:30p-7a, 12/24 10:30p-7a) On-call every 11th week Mon-Thu 11:30p-6a Fri-Mon 11:30p-6a Floating Will float within Radiology and CT/X-ray May float to Burlington Hospital or Southern Lakes (20 minutes away) Floating used to support PTO coverage or low census weeks Charting & Equipment EPIC (preferred) Client Optima 360 McKesson PACS Pyxis i-STAT Support Structure Department supervisor Radiology techs Receptionist (days) 24/7 hospitalist 24/7 respiratory therapy Code team backup Orientation 1-3 days based on comfort level Additional Notes Scrub color: any professional color Free parking Small, tight-knit department; known to be traveler-friendly
