The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Human Nutrition program, serve as the Director of the Dietetic Internship, and ensure the program maintains full compliance with Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) standards. The faculty member will also contribute to curriculum development, student advising, and departmental and university service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promote high standards of academic achievement and integrity in assigned courses. Teach applied and/or didactic courses in the Human Nutrition undergraduate and graduate curriculum. Advise and mentor students in the Human Nutrition program and Dietetic Internship. Serve as Director of the ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship program. Establish and maintain relationships with preceptors and affiliated facilities that support the Dietetic Internship. Maintain full compliance with ACEND accreditation standards. Serve on University, College, and Department committees and contribute to program development and improvement. Minimum Requirements Registered Dietitian (R.D.) credential. Completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in the appropriate discipline. Eligibility to serve as Director of a Dietetic Internship program, as outlined by ACEND. Demonstrated ability and commitment to delivering high-quality education. Preferred Requirements Experience managing dietetic internship programs, including preceptor coordination and accreditation compliance. Ability to teach lower-level, upper-level, and/or graduate human nutrition courses. Experience with program development, student recruitment, and grant proposal writing. Evidence of strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
